Axana v Dancer

 

Axana entered her first dance class at age 6 in her native Russia and was a successful competitive ballroom dancer for eleven years.  She continued her dance education in college where she studied ballet and modern dance.  Axana is currently a Ballroom, Latin and Social dance instructor.

 

Working as a travel agent in Russia, Axana traveled to Jordan, Egypt and Israel where she saw many prominent Middle Eastern dance performers and became enamored with belly dance.  With a move to Germany, Axana found her first belly dance class and it became the passion of her life.  

Axana searched for a belly dance community in each new place she lived—a dance journey that eventually led her to MidNight Tribe!
